About me:
About me:
I have over 20 years experience working across rehabilitation settings and for the past 14 years I have specialised in the community and so have significant experience supporting clients with a wide variety of clinical conditions.
I am pleased to be bringing my experience and expertise into the private sector where I can support more clients and in a timely way to offer the best possible opportunity for recovery and the best outcomes.
Why home physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy at home means we can work on the things that really matter to you, in the place where you need to do them and without the hassle of your getting out to a clinic or hospital appointment. Areas we might work towards are:
Feeling steadier and more confident on your feet
getting back to walking outdoors
managing stairs more safely
Getting out of a chair or car more easily
Improving strength and mobility so you can do things that are important to you like visiting friends or family
Rebuilding confidence after a fall or hospital stay
Getting back to hobbies or activities you enjoy- or starting new ones
Becoming more independent around your home
Supporting your recovery after surgery, illness or injury
Helping family members and carers understand how best to support you
Keeping you as strong, mobile and independent as possible

"I am in my 80s and Millie has helped me enormously. I was struggling with my balance and had some pain in my knee. Millie visits every week and we work hard together. She gives me new exercises as I get more capable. She prints outs the programmes for me and I’m really happy with my progress. I’m getting all my strength back again." A, Client, Topsham, July 2026
"It was lovely to meet up with you on Friday. I found the advice which you gave me very useful. Thank you also for your email and for the summary of the points which we discussed. It will be helpful for me when I need a reminder whilst we’re away.
It’s always reassuring to find a physiotherapist that I have confidence in and it will be good to feel that I can contact you whenever I have a problem." K, Client, Feniton, Aug 2026
"I engaged Millie after my 84 year old mother had a painful knee. During the previous 6 months she had been recovering from a broken hip and was not confident of walking without her frame or sticks. After just a few weeks of sessions and exercise plans my mum is visibly stronger and standing taller. Now she often forgets her stick! She is a keen student and very happy using Millie who has a lovely encouraging manner." J, daughter of a client, July 2026
"Millie came in and worked with my 83 year old mother. Her professionalism, empathy and kindness were apparent from the start. she gave her realistic targets and goals for physiotherapy techniques and made sure Mum could achieve these realistically" K, daughter of a client, March 2026
"With Millie's wealth of knowledge in rehabilitation through physio, my passion and commitment in trying to defy age through confidence and the wonderful lady's positive mindset we are back in the game and the improvement has been huge. Millie's exercises and time have been fundamental in this progress. Having the right people around shows that with a good team everyone achieves more" M- Ruby's Care in the Community, Exeter, July 2026
